Hi there, Well, the camera arrived yesterday, and I have to say that my first impressions are very positive indeed. The camera itself is the Samsung NX300 with the 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 -Function lens. The build quality of both camera, and lens is excellent. There are no creaky noises when the camera is moved, or turned around. Which is evident in some cameras of the plastic type. The NX has a solid metal base plate, and top plate. The mode selection dial turns with a solid click when it reaches the correct position that you've dialed in. The on/off switch is positioned around the shutter release button, and is also a solid click, when turned on or off. The shutter release is responsive. The tilting rear screen is a jot to use, and, just like the Samsung Galaxy phones, (which we also use), is so crsytal clear that is like looking through a very clean window, at whatever it is you are trying to capture an image of. The camera that I have is a Brown one, the NX comes in a choice of three colours. There is a very nice White one, or a more traditional, Black, or the one that I have, which is Brown. As I said, my forst impressions are very positive, but, it remains to be seen how this camera will perform in real world useage.
